Pokemon Go Update: Free Incubators Can Still Be Claimed Until Tomorrow; Gift Boxes And New Year’s Event Discussed

Niantic has recently announced that they will be hosting a Christmas Event for Pokemon Go which highlights several in-game bonuses dedicated for their players. As reported, the Christmas Event offers a free single-use Egg Incubator for completing the first spin of the day quest.

According to the report from Otakukart, several trainers are now excited to hit the PokeStops as soon as possible, while others were patient and saved their 7-day streak until the update will be released. Currently, several players have already posted screenshots of them already getting an Incubator. On the other hand, the exact time of the update's release was previously predicted but it seems like the prediction were a bit off and ended up a time of release at 12 PM EST.

It should've been expected since most of the previous nest migrations and updates occur around 12 AM GMT or somewhere around 12. On the other hand, player who have missed their free incubators today will still be able to get one tomorrow since the free Incubator bonus is given daily until the event is over. As a matter of fact, you still have enough time to claim all 10 Incubators before the end of the Christmas Event on Jan. 3.

On the other hand, while other trainers are pleased to witness a free in-game Incubator, several other players are now keeping their eye on the limited edition Gift Boxes. These reported Gift Boxes contain numerous incredible rewards. It is highly recommended to get one now before it will be removed from the store at some point. The boxes contain several in-game items such as Great Ball, Incense, Incubators and more.

Meanwhile, another event is predicted to arrive around Dec. 30, which increases the spawn rate of all starter Pokemon including their evolution chain in preparation for New Year's Celebration. However, Niantic will have the final word regarding that matter.
