One surprise that Niantic has offered to their Pokemon Go fans this Christmas are the Gift Boxes. These are special boxes that contain various in-game items such as Ultra Ball, Incense, Egg Incubator and more. However, players recently raised one question regarding the availability of these Gift Boxes. They are wondering why they cannot send some Gift Boxes to other trainers.
According to the report from Otakukart, Christmas is the season of giving and spreading love through gifts to their friends, family and loved ones. These gifts do not always have to be physical. Some people prefer to buy virtual gifts by way of Gift Boxes which are currently present in Pokemon Go. Though, it might be expected that several trainers would not use this kind of feature in the game. However, Niantic still missed out on an opportunity to generate more real money.
As reported, it seems like Niantic has not come up with an idea having this feature to Pokemon Go. However, some say that the company does not bother adding it in. Apparently, it is just odd to see the absence of this kind of feature in Pokemon Go compared to several popular game titles such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2. These games have a feature called Time Space Delivery which is an area where players can deliver their in-game items from player to player.
Though it is expected that some players will abuse this feature but it seems like more players would use it correctly. Basically, if this Transfer feature was added to Pokemon Go, some trainers might use this as an avenue to make profit for themselves by selling it to other players in a much cheaper price compared to what Niantic has listed in the store.
Seemingly, it can be compared to Trading but it is quite different. This feature can only send items like Pokemon Go coupons to other players as gifts, not trading. Meanwhile, players are hopeful that the company will add one next time on their future events.
