One of the existing questions in World of Warcraft is if there's a possibility of another playable class in the upcoming expansion. While Legion is still relatively new to the community, the details of what's to come for players in Azeroth has been slightly teased by Blizzard in the recently concluded BlizzCon 2016 where we can expect to fight the burning legion in Argus. Outside of that, Blizzard didn't give any hints for the upcoming contents and so these are just mere concepts and ideas for the upcoming expansion.
World of Warcraft: Dragon Class
One fan has expressed his idea about a Dragon class in WoW and that this concept wouldn't be far-fetched reality considering that the game itself is full of fantasies - which is undeniably true, since we got Pandas. Now, the main story about this new class revolves around the Dragon Aspects which will be your guiding masters as you progress into the story (much like how Illidan guides the Demon Hunters in Legion).
The quality of the Dragon class borrows the concept of the Demon Hunter and Worgen wherein they can either transform either as a boost on their abilities or for escape/travelling. The Dragon class doesn't necessarily have to be a race to begin with as we already have Worgen where one can transform between a humanoid and a beast.
Potential Skills and Abilities
Now to make things unique, the class will also have a unique resource pool wherein they will have to generate or build throughout the course of the battle. As the player builds his secondary resource, the class will then display similar traits to dragonkins (horns, tails, wings, etc.) depending on the amount of resources acquired.
As you can remember, we've reported about how World of Warcraft is lacking caster class in the game. Now, this concept would definitely fit well for the game as the Dragon Class can be configured as both a caster and a melee (much like Shamans). Since the Dragon Aspects' power has waned upon the battle against Deathwing, it's high time for their class to show up in the battle against the burning legion. After all, they're part of the guardians of Azeroth.
What do you think of this concept class? Will it fit well in the upcoming match against the burning legion?
