In any other games -- Fallout 4 including -- there are plenty of things that players can do. From roaming to taking side quests to earning rewards and stuff -- these are all but required. However, there are also things that players actually need to avoid. These are basically mistakes, and Bethesda's title isn't an exception. Regardless of the platform you're playing, as much as possible, be sure not to commit to doing these 4 things.
Progressing More 15 Minutes Without Saving
Sometimes, in the heat of battle and excitement, most Fallout 4 players tend to forget to save. As a result, for whatever reason it might be, their progress is wiped out. In Bethesda's title, this is simply a necessity. That's because, hate to admit it, the game still doesn't fail to offer various bugs and issues. These problems are simply difficult to predict. Hence you need to remedy it.
As much as possible, try to save your Fallout 4 game every now and then. It's actually best to do such prior to reaching a 15-minute gameplay. If, for instance, you run along a problem, this could be a major headache. So if you want to prevent such from happening, better do it. Add this to you every to-do list in the game.
Don't Take V.A.T.S For Granted
First and foremost, Fallout 4 shouldn't just be played like how any regular shooter game should be. Here, it's important to utilize the game's combat system called V.A.T.S. It basically allows you to slow the in-game time, giving you the capability to pinpoint your attacks or shots. More importantly, it gives you the chance to conserve ammunition. It's simply because you're able to take more accurate shots ever than before. So, use this to your advantage. It's placed there for a specific purpose.
Places On All Maps Are Significant
It's no secret that Fallout 4 offers a good amount of players that players can explore. The only catch is that some of these may simply appear like a typical location on the Pip Boy's mini map. In reality, there are a good number of places left unmarked on the aforementioned mini map. For instance, the one where a UFO seemed to have crashed. It's best to never neglect any of these in the maps. Go ahead and discover them. Give it a little of your time and effort. It's even more exciting!
Bethesda's Tutorials & Hints Shouldn't Complete You
Believe it or not, there are Fallout 4 players who are already satisfied with the in-game tutorials and hints. Sad to say, these aren't enough. Not even close. While they are there to server one purpose -- that is to educate you -- they're simply not substantial. Because at the end of day, you'll notice that they don't really pinpoint the game's very core. The best way is to discover these yourself. Or perhaps join the community and see what others are talking. The idea is to go beyond the box and discover the possibilities.
