5 Staggering Changes Bethesda Did To Skyrim Remastered

Almost everyone will agree that the main element Skyrim Remastered offers is the much sleeker graphic designs. And of course, aside from the aesthetics, a bunch of performance improvements also arrived. But hey, the game is actually more that these stuff. Here are 5 changes in the game that will surprise you to a certain extent.

The Torturer's Hood Can Be Looted

There are players who, despite being attached to a certain character, love to alternate the classes or heroes they choose. Of course, this is only possible in role-playing games. It's as if they're interested in knowing what the other guy offers when the first one has yet to be completed. For anyone in Skyrim Remastered who decided to be a lizardman, this one here is pretty much familiar. While making that escape in a certain introduction, players get to fight a torturer with a hood (Helgen's prison). In the past version, one can't simply take this away. But now, in the remastered, players can easily loot and wear it.

Saved Files Are Now Separate

In the previous one, the number of saved files Skyrim Remastered players have is synonymous to a legion of cockroaches. In a sense, as players keep doing this, they end up saving tons of old saves. This is definitely a pain in the head, especially when the quantity increases. Fortunately now, saving them is a lot easier than it was before. That's because saved files are now efficiently separated in terms of character name. And not just that: Bethesda has added a feature called "quicksave." Oh, the shortcut button for this feature is F5.

Vampires Aren't That Deadly Now

For Skyrim Remastered players who installed the Dawnguard expansion (in Vanilla Skyrim, of course), vampire attacks will be activated on various settlements. As a result, they tend to become vampire hunters -- whether they like it or not. This is possible as soon as they reach level 9. Unfortunately, these attacks are so lethal that players can kill any other characters unintentionally. Heck, most of the victims here are the merchants who love to walk around in the streets of Whiterun. Well, not now really. The remastered version doesn't include this ridiculousness. Perhaps the developers from Bethesda understood how silly such was.

Sprinting Is Synonymous To Toggle

Bethesda indeed loves saved files for each hero or character, as it's also something that they did in Fallout 4. The same thing can be applied to Skyrim Remastered, most especially that Toggled Sprinting is now possible. Remember that in the past, players will have to hold Alt button so they can sprint. It stops when the stamina bar is empty. Now, the process is easier. Players will have to simply toggle a button and sprinting becomes automatically. This is definitely an interesting addition to the game.

Most Alchemy Ingredients Are Now Easier To Acquire

Yes, alchemy ingredients were quite a catch before Skyrim Remastered even arrived. For instance, an ingredient would require players for a specific flower. Unfortunately, it's not moonlight and roses. They have to equip themselves with a good amount of luck in order to locate this flower. Good thing, Bethesda has changed the ways this system works. It's not a lot easier to find alchemy ingredients compared in the past.
