Recently, a picture of the Nokia Lumia 928 was leaked; it is expected to head to U.S. carrier Verizon next month. Now another picture of the smartphone has leaked but this time in white.
Many rumors are circling the smartphone space about the upcoming Nokia Windows Phone 8 (WP8) flagship device, the Lumia 928. It seems that a launch of the smartphone is near, as many rumors have been surfacing about the device in the last few weeks. Speculations also suggest that the Verizon version of the Lumia 928 may launch on May 15.
@evleaks posted an image on Twitter of the Lumia 928, and now again the same source has posted an image of the white variant of the handset. Just as before, the image does not come along with information related to the hardware specifications, price and availability.
Nokia has remained silent on the Lumia 928 but has also not rejected the fact that it is working on a smartphone called the Lumia 928. Stephen Elop, CEO of Nokia, was recently asked in an interview about the Lumia 928. Elop replied "I don't know because we haven't announced the Lumia 928."
The Nokia Lumia 928 is expected to have an aluminum body and will succeed the current WP8-powered Lumia 920. The Lumia 928 is expected to sport a 4.5-inch display with 1280 x 768, an 8.7-megapixel camera and a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 920 has 32GB of on-board storage without the option to expand using a microSD card, so the Lumia 928 should also have at least 32GB of internal storage.
The Lumia 920 is one of the most popular WP8 smartphones available and many smartphone customers will wait to lay hands on the predecessor. May 15 is not very far away, but we will have to wait until Nokia or Verizon confirms the Lumia 928.
