Fans have been eager to find out what the new “Star Wars” movie is going to be all about and despite efforts of keeping it all a secret, some spoilers have leaked. The latest spoiler included Han Solo’s funeral, which was spotted during filming. The other one had something to do with Benicio Del Toro’s unrevealed role.
Photos from the filming set of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” was revealed just recently and they showed actors garbed in dark cloaks, which can only be appropriate for solemn events like funerals. And so far, “Star Wars” is recently mourning the death of one of its iconic characters, Han Solo, so it seems fit and accurate that the alleged funeral scene is for Han Solo. The filming of the said scene was reportedly shot in a town in Croatia, where locals were requested to shut down windows to give way to the movie’s post-production computer-generated imagery (CGI).
Another tidbit that was recently put into light was Benicio Del Toro’s character. The production has been keeping his role in the dark, probably because it would be a giveaway. But it was discovered that Del Toro’s “Star Wars” role was listed briefly on a page called Wikiwand and it was for someone called Sir Vicrum Fett until it was changed to TBA (to be announced) a few days later.
It has not been confirmed yet but if the rumor is true about Del Toro’s role in “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” then he could most probably be linked to Boba Fett. Given the circumstances, Sir Vicrum Fett can be his son or most likely his clone given that Boba Fett was a clone of his father, Jango Fett. Aside from that, if the rumored role could be true then it could make sense since Han Solo was the reason for Boba Fett’s death and somebody's bound to get revenge for the latter.
So far, nothing is certain except for the cast and Rey’s new look since nobody is willing to give away the slightest spoiler that can ruin the story for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”. The movie, which is also known as “Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi” has been scheduled to premiere on Dec. 15 in the United States. Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, and more actors will return to reprise their roles.
