'Once Upon A Time' Season 6: Show's Future In Danger? Snow Wakes Up And Gets Back At Evil Queen

ABC's "Once Upon a Time" is currently on its mid-season break, but the show has promised a highly interesting comeback. Spoilers reveal that Snow will wake up and reunite with Prince Charming/David before they get back at the Evil Queen. Meanwhile, the show's future is reportedly at risk that the series need to get a reboot if it gets a seventh season.

Detail for the new set episodes of the highly-guarded musical series area surprisingly out and fans can now be sure that Snow White will soon reunite with David. It can be recalled that the "Once Upon a Time" season 6 first half saw the Evil Queen casting a sleeping spell upon the couple in a condition that one of them has to stay awake while the other sleep. Hence the lovers did not really have a time together before someone goes to sleep again.

Because of the latest plans of the Evil Queen, David chose to stay awake and trap Snow in a long sleep in order for him to protect her from the villain. However, Jennifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White, previously teased that her character will be back very soon. Apparently, the curse cast on the couple will be lifted off, and Goodwin said that Snow will go after the Evil Queen for causing them so much trouble. The actress also said that the returning episode will be "moving" as it will show how Snow and David will break the spell. She also said that the scenes will bring out a lot of emotions among fans.

Recent updates to "Once Upon a Time" season 6B also revealed that two new characters are set to come to the show. ABC is reportedly in search of a male actor who can play a tough leading man role. A young girl character will also be introduced, but it has not yet been revealed who will play the parts. Rumors of a sing-off between David and Snow and Evil Queen also surfaced as well as a musical solo or Jennifer Morrison's Emma Swan.

Meanwhile, the show's future is reportedly in peril. Executive producers of the show, Edward Kitsis, and Adam Horowitz as well as the entertainment president of ABC, Channing Dungey, reportedly agreed to reset the story arc of "Once Upon a Time" should it be renewed for season 7.

The show has already been reinvented multiple times before, but reports say that the upcoming installment will be the biggest. The executives though are not yet decided how to push through with the plans as the network is still to decide whether to renew the series or not. Some rumors are swirling, saying that the show might be canceled as it will again shift to another storyline that ABC might see it unnecessary to air. Confirmations for these are expected to come as soon as "Once Upon a Time" returns.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6B will return on March 5 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
