In today's gaming industry, Ark: Survival Evolved is probably among the most popular ones. However, most fans will agree that it didn't start well. Many didn't believe in its potential, especially that it arrived incomplete. That's right -- even up to now, the game has yet to receive its full version. But then again, despite that, it doesn't take away the fact that this title is among the highly celebrated ones of today. For anyone who is new to this game, it's really beneficial to know a trick or two. After all, Studio Wildcard's title isn't something that players can master in one single sitting.
It's All About Taming Dinosaurs
Unlike most other games, Ark: Survival Evolved doesn't revolve on objectives. One is the fact that it doesn't offer a Story Mode of sort. In reality, it's more about players have their own goals and/or self-imposed objectives. Contrary to popular belief, this has actually earned the applause of many. Perhaps due to the freedom it offers. So, for beginners, instead of worrying about what to do, it's best to tame dinosaurs. For now, in the initial stages, this is the right thing to do. Tame more creatures and, as much as possible, build more defenses. This is most especially that the studio has introduced a bunch of new ones, as reported by Express. Doing these will definitely take a good amount of time, but the rewards are just satisfying.
Dying Isn't Really An Issue
Again, unlike any other games, Ark: Survival Evolved differs so much in terms of gameplay. According to Paste, dying in this game is, well, simply the reality. Players are definitely going to die -- a lot. This is most especially if they're still new to the game. Heck, they might even be surprised that they got killed even when re-spawning on beaches. Sure, it'll become frustrating; however, the key is to take it one step at a time. For instance, the next re-spawn happens, it's best to fetch the various possessions away from the dead body. That's because, in this game, a player's inventory will be saved even after he/she dies.
Of course, when dying in Ark: Survival Evolved, players have to find their dead bodies. Doing so will help them retrieve the items they've left behind. It's worth noting, though, that the body decomposes over time. So players must have that sense of urgency to find and retrieve the items as quickly as they can. Otherwise, it'll be too late.
Take Advantage Of The Vital Materials
In Ark: Survival Evolved, new players will be introduced to a number of vital materials. As the name suggests, these are important in their journey. These items basically keep them alive. In the beginning of the game, two of them most important vital materials are namely Raw Meat and Hide. And yes, they're of great significance, especially that during this stage players have no access to any necessary weapons schematics. With that said, it's better to take advantage of the Dodo Birds. One is that they're defenseless, and two they can be easily killed by a couple of punches. Once dead, they'll be able to provide Raw Meat.
