First off, Ark: Survival Evolved still remains to be an unfinished game. After all, developer Studio Wildcard has yet to release its full version -- despite the good number of updates released recently. But hey, it doesn't mean that game can't reach greater heights. Remember when it broke records in terms of player pool? Well, for now, it's looking to shape things even better. This is thanks to its introduction to the Virtual Reality realm. And by the looks of it, it looks quite promising.
According to PCGamer, a new Ark: Survival Evolved gameplay footage was released just recently by the studio. It's called Ark Park, which shows the beauty of the game when played in VR. It basically lets player experience the thrill of interacting with Dinos -- and yes, all of these in the comfort of using a VR goggle.
The people behind this amazing concept about Ark: Survival Evolved VR are from Snail Games. The studio even invited the developers from Studio Wildcard so as to let them experience this one kind of a thing discovery. The company explained that their main goal is to come up with a "virtual world" where players can explore various places. Apart from that, they'll have the opportunity to "have close encounters" with the different creates in the game.
Obviously, the VR footage still lacks the very concept of Ark: Survival Evolved. It's something that the company is quite aware of. However, they have a very solid explanation for it. First and foremost, it should be understood that the tour isn't entirely a passive one. Second, since the game is a bit of a fast-paced, it could bring a little discomfort to the players. So instead of going into one direction, the developers opted to go with two options: first is by way of making it fun, and second is by way of incorporating the very theme of the game.
