LG G6 Brings The Big Screen Experience To Your Phone

This 2017 mobile HDR is back on the agenda, spearheaded by the debut of the LG G6. Dolby, the audio and imaging quality developer, announced Sunday at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that the new LG G6 will be the first smartphone to support its Dolby Vision high dynamic range video technology.

Remarkably, Netflix also has confirmed at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona that it's going to start supporting HDR streams on smartphones with the new LG G6. Vice President, Device Partner Ecosystem, Netflix, Scott Mirer, said "With the new LG G6 and Dolby Vision, Netflix is able to deliver now a more stunning visual experience on a smartphone.

Combined with the LG G6's large 5.7-inch FullVision display, Dolby Vision offers more life-like images with brighter highlights, more detailed contrast, and vivid colors never seen before on a mobile display. The LG G6 smartphone also comes with Dolby Audio that offers a richer sound experience.

LG G6 Specifications And Features

This smartphone features an IP68-rating for dust and water resistance and the first ever LG phone was launched with the new UX 6.0. Having a large size of 5.7-inch QHD+ FullVision display, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC and is equipped with 4GB RAM. For the cameras concern, LG G6 features a dual rear camera setup. It has two 13-megapixel sensors, one for wide-angle shots and the other for regular shots with a 71-degree lens with OIS 2.0. As for the front, it sports a 5-megapixel wide-angle lens. Under the hood is 3300mAh battery life.
