The latest chapter of “Blue Exorcist”, also known as “Ao No Exorcist”, just came out. It was a chapter both full of fun and unexpected revelations. The mystery why Shiemi suddenly decided to quit exorcism still remains.
Shiemi Moriyama Quits Exorcism: Is She Dying?
“Blue Exorcist” Chapter 87 left off with a plot twist and it was Shiemi’s sudden announcement not to go on with the exorcist certification exam. In fact, she did not just postpone but declared that she is entirely quitting exorcism. The gang would not be able to discover why Shiemi had a change of heart if Yukio did not confront Shiemi about it
Rin and the others started speculating that maybe Shiemi is dying. However, Yukio explained that it couldn’t be the reason, they knew that there are other reasons that Shiemi couldn’t share. The night she asked for her mother’s permission and revealed that she wanted to be an exorcist, her mother told her that it was time to tell her something, and it was up to her if she wants to continue being an exorcist.
With the revelations piling up, one after another, in the recent chapters of “Blue Exorcist”, it wouldn’t be a surprise that her reason could be connected to the blue night. There are speculations that say she may be related to Shemihaza, have ties with the Grigori, or she's just someone who shouldn’t do an exorcism at all. Whatever the reason, it made Shiemi to change her mind overnight.
Bon Keeps Secrets From The Okumura Brothers
In “Blue Exorcist” Chapter 88, Bon continues to deal with his conscience because he knew the reason why Rin and Yukio’s recognized grandfather died. He tries to muster the guts to go on with the investigation of the blue night. They found out that Illuminati started with Section 13 of True Cross Academy, and they also found out the individuals who were cloned.
Several of the clones were people they knew, mingling with them at the present. One clone caught Bon’s eyes and it turned out to be Shiro Fujimoto, the Okumura brothers’ adoptive father. The young boys were terribly saddened by the loss of their father but Bon felt more sympathy for them for being entangled with a web of lies that involved Satan and the demon kings.
