The ongoing arc of “Dragon Ball Super”, which is called the Universe Survival Arc, has been quite a ride so far. It has revealed a lot of plot twists that has gotten all participating universes on their toes. The arc has yet to reveal its true antagonist but fans are already pointing fingers at Goku and an evil Omni King.
The Evil Omni King
There has been debates and speculations recently over the true identity of the Omni King. One, in particular, even suggests that the real Omni King is the Grand Priest since he is the only character who does not have a double in “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc. The said anime series introduced Zen-Oh as the Omni King and in this arc, there are two of them—the current Zen-Oh and the future Zen-Oh. Now, there are speculations that one of the Omni Kings is evil - and the actual villain of this arc.
The theory was backed up by several hints that included the new opening sequence of “Dragon Ball Super”, which showed an animated shot of two Omni Kings, a smiling blue one, and an unamused red one. The lyrics of the opening song also says there is an angel and a demon sitting together, which pretty much pertains to the two Zen-Oh in “Dragon Ball Super” since they are the only ones sitting on thrones. The lyrics further hinted that there are faces of demons masked by the faces of angels.
Goku Stops The Clash Between The Two Omni Kings
Now, with the theory of an evil Omni King coming into light, it is most likely that the two Zen-Oh will fight. Even the Grand Priest might get in the middle of the fight to stop it, but given that they are the Omni Kings, they will be too powerful to stop. Goku, who may possess the powers of a god, can be the only one to stop the fight and help defeat the evil Omni King by acquiring a power which is equal or beyond their power.
Goku was also considered as a villain after it Zen-Oh stated that he was the reason why the tournament was pushed through. Goku wanted to show how powerful he was, and Zen-Oh had an idea on how to wipe out universes and it was through the Tournament of Power, wherein the weak universes will be erased. The evil Zen-Oh might have intentionally brought this up to keep suspicions away from him, and to make the universes believe that Goku should be blamed.
