The recent episode of “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc has left off with a round of hair-raising plot twists. The approaching Tournament of Power turns out to be a Battle Royale between all the participating universes to determine the strongest one. “Dragon Ball Super” episode 81 gave a preview of the next episode featuring a fight between Toppo and Goku.
Who Are Members of Team Universe 11?
The latest episodes of “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc has introduced many participating teams representing one universe. One of the notable teams is from the Universe 11, which Toppo is part of. Team Universe 11 qualifies to participate in the impending Tournament of Power since Universe 1, Universe 5, Universe, 8, and Universe 12 were the only ones exempted. Though there are six members in team Universe 11, not all of them are in danger of being erased since some of them are celestial beings such as gods and angels.
Team Universe 11 has already revealed its cloaked warrior Toppo, as the team leader for the Tournament of Power during the Universe Survival Arc. There are two other Pride Troopers who remain unnamed till now but they are identified as the gray alien, which Goku will be fighting in the future as hinted in the anime’s new opening, and the slim purple being that looks like Beerus. Vermoud, the clown, is Universe 11’s God of Destruction and he is accompanied by an angel, who is his martial arts teacher. Kai the white-haired purple being who stands tall is reportedly very powerful.
Will Goku Gain New Dark Power?
With how things turned out in the latest episode of “Dragon Ball Super” Universe Survival Arc, fans are speculating that Goku will obtain a new power and maybe even a dark one. It is predicted that he will learn or probably unleash this new power when he gets defeated by Toppo. Most fans are agreeing that the odds are against Goku in the upcoming fight with Toppo since the latter is very strong and has even the power to disperse attacks.
The speculation came out of the anime’s new opening sequence, showing Goku surrounded by huge red aura while he is smiling. This could either be interpreted as an opponent’s attack on Goku or this could be Goku multiplying the Kaio-Ken in amounts unheard of. But with Goku, who is determined to prove his strength, this menacing red and black energy around him may be the birth of new demonic power from one of his advanced Super Saiyan forms.
