The new episode of “Dragon Ball Super” centered on the Universe Survival Arc has just been released. It features Goku and the rest of the gang scouting warriors for the upcoming Tournament of Power. During their discussion, Krillin’s strength and the mortal levels were revealed.
Universe 7’s Low Mortal Level Explained
As revealed in the previous episode of “Dragon Ball Super”, Goku and the rest of Team Universe 7 had 40 hours to find ten warriors to participate in the Tournament of the Power. The said tournament will be a battle royale between 80 fighters from 12 universes and it will be a battle for survival since the last team standing will be spared from being eradicated. Beerus and the Supreme Kai, also known as Kaioshin, are keen on getting the strongest warriors from Universe 7 but it seems like they have to be very picky about it.
Gohan suggested that they check the whole universe but the Supreme Kai revealed that there were only 28 planets left to choose from. It appears they have lost too many planets and that the Supreme Kai isn’t sure if there are any worthy fighters left. Beerus pointed out that the numerous destruction of planets was the reason why Universe 7 had one of the lowest mortal levels and also because the Supreme Kai lacked the initiative to check each planet’s power levels, failing to do his job by creating new planets.
Goku Teases Krillin’s New Techniques
Beerus tells the team to go find any strong warrior to join the tournament as long as they can win. Gohan and Goku were deciding on who to invite to the Tournament of Power. They thought about Krillin, who had quit fighting for a while. Because they weren’t sure if Krillin had what it takes to win the Tournament of Power, the father and son engage in an image battle between Krillin and Basil, where the latter wins.
Gohan was convinced that Krillin wasn’t strong enough but Goku revealed that Krillin has been training in secret all this time, revealing that he was confident that his best friend has grown stronger. He pointed out that Krillin clearly had more new techniques they have to see, which of course they weren’t able to apply in the image battle between Krillin and Basil. The preview of “Dragon Ball Super” episode 84 reveals Goku visiting Krillin and his family, wherein he finds more about the martial artist’s secret training. Gohan then fights Krillin to gauge his strength and put his training to a test.
