Big changes are happening in Battlefield 1. Another new feature called Platoon is now available on Community Test Environment (CTE), which will allow players to create their very own clan in the game. If the said feature receives the approval of players on CTE, then DICE might add it with the upcoming update so everyone can experience it.
How To Create A Platoon In Battlefield 1 CTE?
Creating platoon in Battlefield 1 is fun and easy. The first thing to do, like always, is create a name for the clan. Of course, players need to think of a cool name, but must know that it can only have 24 characters maximum. Since the names are not exclusive, there are chances that there will be duplicates. However, some clan names need to pass the profanity filter first.
According to PVP Live, the tags are not exclusive also. It can be composed of one to four alpha-numerical characters, although there are tags that might be restricted in Battlefield 1. The players can either put a description or not for their clans.
Players need to put an emblem that can be selected in their personal gallery. Once chosen, it will automatically be copied to the Platoon. The creator can select how others can join from Open, Apply-to-join and Closed.
The Platoon will be composed of one General, which is also the clan creator. Nevertheless, he can pass it to another member and can kick out or promote him if he wants to. The Colonel is the second-highest in the group and can take over if the creator is not online. Other members can be a Lieutenant or a Private.
How Platoon Works In Battlefield 1 CTE?
Players must never forget that they need to join only one Platoon and reach for a higher position in Battlefield 1. As per Segment Next, they cannot join all the clans as it will override their emblems and information can be mixed up.
If they wish to play Flag Capture, the Platoon who gets to have it first, will have the flag be displayed by their own emblem. It means everyone will know that the clan has successfully finished the goal. Adding in the bragging rights and letting everyone know how great their Platoon is.
DICE wants to establish a strong bond between the players of Battlefield 1 and it is the reason why it released the Platoon feature in CTE. Players need not to worry because it will arrive in the main game soon.
