Players have been requesting DICE to add new features and content in Battlefield 1, which the developer has been very keen on granting. Even though They Shall Not Pass DLC is already live, the developer is still busy releasing a new patch, not only for Revive Indicator and Ammo 2.0, but also for four new weapons.
Those who are playing in CTE will have the opportunity to try the new variants first. For assault class, there is a new weapon called Hellriegel 1915 Defensive. It is packed with 120-round drum magazine and a bipod. However, it is not allowed to be moved and can only be used when players stay in one place, according to VG247. In order to unlock Hellriegel 1915 Defensive, they need to kill 300 enemies using the Hellriegel 1915 Factory and 25 kills with AT Mines first.
Next, the support class will be getting Huot Automatic Optical. The new gun will have improved foregrip and sights. The players will surely love Hout Automatic Optical because they can control it even if it will recoil. To unlock the gun, they need to kill 300 enemies with Low Weight variant and 25 using Limpet Charge.
The medic class in Battlefield 1 will get Selbstlader 1906 Sniper, as per GameZone. It is an upgraded version of Selbstlader 1906 that is currently in Battlefield 1. Its accuracy is better compared to the previous gun. To unlock it, they need to use the previous gun and kill 300 enemies and by using the rifle grenades, they must finish 25 enemies.
The scout class will get a better version of Martini-Henry called Martini-Henry Sniper. It will now have a long-range scope with a bipod just like the Hellriegel 1915 Defensive. For the chance to have the powerful gun, they must kill 300 using Infantry variant and 25 kills with bayonet charge.
However, players must reach at least level 10 in Battlefield 1 in order to access all the new variants for the classes in the game. They must also remember that once the guns are already available in the main game, DICE will not allow them to use their pre-grinded weapon in it.
