When it comes to Dark Souls 3, things are not that easy -- as in literally. Players get to experience a thousand deaths before moving up to the next stage, so to speak. Still, this is why people love the game -- they just can't get enough of the complexity. Surprisingly though, a player gets to cheese the boss in the latest DLC of the game.
According to PC Gamer, a YouTuber by the name of TolomeoR showcases how things should be done in the latest Dark Souls 3 DLC called The Ringed City. In this content, the hardest boss players will face is named Darkeater Midir. Even the most hardcore players of the game will agree that the monsters is by far the strongest in the game.
But for TolomeoR, the aforementioned Dark Souls 3 boss is just a spec. This is thanks to a jogging route that he discovered. Using the path, he gets past the monster's scaly paws and dark, awful laser breath. The player made things look easy, besting the boss in the most effective way. Of course, not all players will find it acceptable, but it worked.
In the video (embedded below), the Dark Souls 3 player explained the strategy he did. However, he iterated that it is not totally foolproof. That's because some of the boss' attacks are random, and one can't simply avoid by trotting away. After several attempts of Midir, it's said to stick on its swiping moves -- something that can be efficiently avoided 100 percent.
In related Dark Souls 3 news, the game is getting a new update. GameSinners reports that patch 1.32 will be bringing balance changes specifically developed for The Ringed City content. It will go live today at around 7 PM Pacific Standard Time and 2 AM the following day for consoles and Steam, respectively. It is worth noting that this update is deemed as a regulation update, so expect it not to have the same liberties as what FromSoftware does with every patch.
The upcoming Dark Souls 3 update is meant to address the frustrations fans have with the DLC's weapons and infusions, among others. It was also developed in a way that the elements in the game's latest content will be balanced. One of the biggest hiccups players have with the content is the introduction of Angels, the winged white beasts who are fond of giving players an array of arrows. Not only can they be killed with ranged attacks, they must be avoided by players if they want to pass the first several areas of the game.
