It's no secret that Dark Souls 3 remains to be one of the highly celebrated (and most challenging) titles of recent memory. And yes, this despite the fact that new titles have been released. Well, it can't be helped especially when a developer like FromSoftware loves to roll interesting stuff out. With that being said, the studio is poised to release a new patch contrary to what most fans have expected.
According to AttackOfTheFanboy, the Dark Souls 3 developer is set to bring the latest patch into reality. It's no other than 1.10, which is believed to bring a couple of fixes to the title. For instance, common problems players are facing in the Mound Maker boss invasions and dartcasting, among others, will be resolved. The forthcoming arrival of the said update has been revealed via the official Facebook page of the title.
Aside from the aforementioned fix, the Dark Souls 3 community can expect more. Like for example, the issue in which players are having a hard time in boss battles (where players could invade another players) -- this is set to be fixed. The issue in enchantment, which, in truth, shouldn't be applied to weapons is also getting resolved.
The Dark Souls 3 developer FromSoftware is also aiming to fix the problem wherein the very first part of a skill action can easily be fixed. The same can also applied to a single item being utilized indefinitely. Because apparently, this shouldn't be happening -- like at all.
The upcoming Dark Souls 3 patch is slated to hit the game come this month. This will particularly be released on February 8, which is just two days during this time of writing. Patch 1.10 will be made available across all platforms. However, in order for the update to be rolled out efficiently, the game's official servers will be experiencing a downtime.
The Dark Souls 3 server for PS4 will happen on February 7, just between the times of 5 PM and 7 PM PST. Xbox One, on the other hand, will commence on the same day, only between the times of 5 PM and 11 PM PST. Lastly, on PC, the studio resorted to have it done on the day of the patch's release. This will be between the hours of 12 AM and 2 AM PST.
