New Leaks Reveal Roster For 'Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite'

After keeping information under lock and key since they revealed the recent gameplay footage of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, a suspected leak has apparently revealed the full roster for the upcoming fighting game. The same individual who confirmed the game's existence before it was officially confirmed by Capcom has reportedly shared the roster information on NeoGAF. Despite the past credentials earned by Ryce, gamers are still advised to await the official announcement from Capcom to confirm its authenticity.

Just before the Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite was officially unveiled last year at the PlayStation Experience 2016 event, Ryce posted his reveal on NeoGAF to confirm that the game will be announced soon. Now, his roster reveal has supposedly confirmed that the brawler will launch with 28 fighters available. Game Rant notes that just like its predecessors, the new title will feature an even number of fighters for both sides which is 14 for Capcom and another 14 for Marvel.

Capcom's side will have Arthur, Chris, Chun-Li, Dante, Firebrand, Jedah, Mega Man X, Monster Hunter, Morrigan, Nemesis, Ryu, Spencer, Strider Hiryu, and a currently unknown character. Marvel, on the other hand, will have Ant-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Gamora, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Nova, Rocket Racoon/Groot, Spider-Man, Thanos, Thor, and Ultron. The last roster slot for Capcom is also suspected to be Frank West. So far, additional DLC characters for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite are supposedly Venom and Sigma, says Ryce.

Event Hubs has previously confirmed that Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite will be playable for the public this E3 2017. Additionally, the CEO 2017 fighting game tournament will also have the crossover fighter game available for attendees. Meanwhile, Tekken 7 is about to launch this week and has boasted new features as well as an impressive roster. Capcom has most likely learned its lesson with Street Fighter V and has bumped up their initial roster this time around. Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite is scheduled to come out on Sept 19, 2017, for the Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
