The next two flagship smartphones of LG could arrive earlier than the expected release date. These smartphones are said to be the LG V30 and LG G7. Before its official release, here is a quick rundown of the possible specs and release date for one of the upcoming and most anticipated smartphones of the South Korean tech giant, the LG G7.
The best intentions of LG this year is its LG G6 launch that has been somewhat dulled by the fact that the smartphone didn’t use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chip. This is despite the information that same chip or processor is featured in the Samsung Galaxy S8, HTC U11, and the imminent OnePlus 5. LG is reportedly planning an August release event for the LG V30. That is a little over a month earlier than the V20’s launch that was unveiled last year.
According to Trusted Reviews, LG is “considering moving up the launch of its next flagship smartphone G7 by a couple of months to beat rivals next year”. With that said, the tech firm obviously began the research, as well as the development, of the LG G7 smartphone last month. For the record, the smartphone is expected to launch in January 2018, which is in contradiction to the LG G6’s March 2017 debut.
The expected LG G7 is going to use another unannounced chip from Qualcomm, which is supposedly called as the Snapdragon 845. This makes sense since many are expecting the chip to be the successor of the Snapdragon 835 processor. Aside from that, 9to5Google also claimed that the chip would launch early next year.
Because of this good news, LG fans and smartphone enthusiasts are now rejoicing. On the sad truth, we can’t verify any of the information in this report. Therefore, take this information with due caution. We won’t certainly know the truth regarding this matter until LG makes an official statement.
