Monster Hunter XX is coming to the Nintendo Switch and some gamers have already tried to play the game. They were able to test the Switch version of the game at the Monster Hunter Summit Tournament last weekend. This event was held at the Big Sight in Tokyo, Japan.
Expert Gamers Have Their Hands-On Experience
The Monster Hunter XX Switch version game trials were one of the first events that were held at Big Sight. These trials were designed to give gamers a hands-on experience of the game's Switch version. Adam Evanko, also known as GaijinHunter, was one of the gamers who tried the game at the event.
He found out and confirmed that Monster Hunter XX Switch version will run at 30 Frames Per Second, the same way the previous 3DS version of the game did. Evanko is a Monster Hunter expert and also a YouTuber. His confirmation that the Switch version of the game can run at 30 FPS seems to mean a lot to some fans of the video game.
The Game's Fluidity Is Assured In The Switch
The 30 FPS capability will ensure the fluidity or seamless gameplay of Monster Hunter XX when played on the Nintendo Switch. That means the graphic elements of the game or its visuals are stabilized at this rate. Some experts who have also tried the game at the event confirmed the game's fluidity at 30 FPS.
Crossplay Is Also Supported
In other words, Monster Hunter XX Switch version will run just like its Nintendo 3DS version. That would also mean that crossplay between the Switch and the 3DS version is supported. Therefore, gamers can play and switch the game to both platforms.
Monster Hunter XX Switch version is set to launch on Aug. 25 in Japan. No date has been announced yet for its release in the West.
