Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, a free-to-play RPG is now available for iOS and Android smartphones. The release of the video game was announced by Behaviour Interactive and Ubisoft on June 27. There is something unique in this game compared to the other games in the Assassin's Creed series.
The Game Is Rendered In A Different Style
Aside from being a free-to-play RPG, Assassin's Creed: Rebellion is rendered in a different artistic style. The characters and its game world are not the usual realistic-looking video game in the series. Although rendered in 3D, the characters and the game world are rendered cartoon-style. This gives the feeling of lightness in an otherwise setting of murder and mayhem.
The gameplay of Assassin's Creed: Rebellion is set in Spain, in the 15th century during the height of the Spanish Inquisition. It will have the familiar faces known to gamers of Assassin's Creed. But now, they are presented in a cartoon-like form and style. This game will be populated by more than 40 assassins.
But It Will Still Have Its Most Familiar Characters
Assassin's Creed: Rebellion includes familiar faces like Ezio, Machiavelli, Aguilar, Claudia, and Shao Jun. There are also more than 20 new assassins who were created just for this video game. These additional assassins were created presumably because a new version of the Animus is being developed that is supposed to combine the memories of different assassins.
In the Brotherhood headquarters of Assassin's Creed: Rebellion, players will be able to add new rooms where they can train new assassins and create new items. Gamers will be able to send three assassins at a time to infiltrate the lair of their targets. In these missions, gamers can take loots that they can use to upgrade their assassins and craft new items.
Gamers Can Grow Their Own Brotherhood Of Assassins
A player of Assassin's Creed: Rebellion can get new assassins by collecting their DNA fragments while they are conducting their missions. In this manner, gamers can build their own Assassin Brotherhood, undertake covert missions against the Templars, and manage their fortresses.
