It is well known that LG will release its upcoming flagship LG V30 at the IFA 2017 press conference in Berlin that is scheduled to start on August 31. However, the latest report suggests that the handset is expected to go on sale globally shortly after the launch.
According to Android Authority, LG is planning to launch sales of the V30 in the United States on September 28th following pre-orders opening on September 17th. The said launch date is tipped as the date of a global launch, so it's speculated that Europe will also see the same launch date. The publication further noted that LG will begin selling the V30 flagship in South Korea starting September 15.
LG V30 has been the subject of a bunch of leaks and rumors in the past weeks. LG V-series is known for its secondary displays, but for this flagship, LG might not give a green signal to the marque feature. Instead, the LG V30 is said to get a 6-inch, edge-to-edge OLED display, as reported by Indian Express.
Specification wise, LG V30 is expected to come with a 6-inch edge-to-edge OLED display with super thin bezels. The device is rumored to boast powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage or even 6GB of RAM. Moreover, the smartphone is said to sport a dual camera setup and pack 3300mAh battery. The LG V30 will also boast the wireless charging capabilities as well as military grade protection.
LG's IFA press conference is scheduled for August 31 in Berlin. This year's annual tradeshow will begin on September 1 and will run for six days. Multiple new flagships from different tech giants like Samsung, Xiaomi, and Motorola are expected at the said tradeshow.
