The smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which comes with eight custom Kryo 280 cores, four of which are clocked at 2.45GHz while the other four run at a maximum frequency of 2.19GHz. There is also an Adreno 540 GPU and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of expandable onboard storage, as reported by NDTV.
The Xperia XZ Premium has a 19-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel front facing the camera. The device has a non-removable 3,230mAh Li-ion battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. The flagship device from Sony comes with pre-installed Android 7.1 Nougat and is said to receive the Android O update going forward.
