Xiaomi is reportedly working with Google on an Android One smartphone. Earlier reports have claimed that the Xiaomi Mi A1 will be a variant of the Mi 5X running stock Android but the latest leak coming from Weibo says otherwise.
A Weibo user has posted some images, which according to him believes are of the Xiaomi Mi A1 and they unveil a smartphone with a full-screen display. There are no bezels on the sides of smartphone spotted in the leak, and those on the forehead and chin are significantly thin, even thinner than that of the Galaxy Note 8, as reported by Gizmochina.
The latest leak, which has surfaced online, suggests that the Mi A1 will feature a full-screen display. Since the Xiaomi Mi A1 will be based on the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 5X, it is said to feature 5.5-inch Full HD almost bezel less display, as reported by The Android Soul.
Apart from that, the rumored Xiaomi Mi A1 is expected to feature dual rear camera set up and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor to power it. However, instead of MIUI 9, the Xiaomo Mi A1 will be running on the stock Android out of the box, which is the highlight of this device. For your information, Android One is Google's way of bringing the stock Android operating system to pocket-friendly smartphones with guaranteed and speedy software updates.
Apart from this, no more information is currently available about the Mi A1, including its pricing and availability. However, Xiaomi has an event scheduled for September 5 and while the guess is that it might be the Mi Mix 2 or global release of the Mi 5X, it may be a different device entirely. A key feature of the phone is that it will have dual cameras.
