Arguably the best Sonic game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Here, the developers finally perfected their craft, with simplicity intersped with amazing substance and gameplay. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is simple yet packed with secrets and is challenging enough to be rewarding.

1. Gunstar Heroes

The top Sega game made by Treasure is well advanced for its time, and it made amazing use out of the Genesis console's technology.
