Here's how you can now go inside 'The Simpsons' (Video)

Have you ever wanted to eat an actual Krusty Burger? How about a Flamin' Moe from Moe's Tavern? Maybe even chow down on some fried chicken courtesy Cletus the Slack-jawed Yokel's own chicken shack? Believe it or not, thanks to the magic of Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, now you can get a true taste of the hometown where all the wacky adventures of The Simpsons has taken place for nearly three animated decades.

Universal Studios Florida plans on expanding its extremely popular The Simpsons ride -- which opened in June 2008 -- to an entire life-sized replication of all of Springfield, including Moe's, Comic Book Store Guy's the The Android's Dungeon & Baseball Card Shop, Lard Lad Donuts and even the likes of a small Duff Brewery (and, yes, there will actually be Duff Beer, brewed exclusively for Universal Studios Florida).

For starters, the park has over the last weekend opened up Fast Food Boulevard, which will grant theme park patrons a sampler of what is in store for them with the coming full expansion.

As Gizmodo reports, going inside of Springfield and The Simpsons is nothing short of "surreal." Especially when, along with a Flamin' Moe or Krusty Burger, you can also get your hands on other Springfield iconic favorites such as Krusty's Partially-Gelatinated-Non-Dairy-Gum-Based-Beverage and goods from the likes of the Sea Captain's Frying Dutchman or even some doughy delights from Luigi's Pizza.

Theme park news forum and review site Inside the Magic added that now that Fast Food Boulevard is officially open to the public, we can also soon expect further expansion plans to include a brand new attraction: The "Treehouse of Horror"-themed Kang & Kodos' Twirl 'n' Hurl, as well as life-sized characters such as Krusty himself and mercurial Sideshow Bob milling about the area.

It was only a few months ago that Universal decided to renovate its International Food and Film Festival area -- nearby the Simpsons ride -- with such revisions as a Kwik-E-Mart store right next to the aforementioned attraction. Back in October 2012, Universal added Simpsons-themed carnival games, as well.

As Inside the Magic notes, the full-fledged Springfield "world" attraction at Universal is following in the footsteps of the already super-popular "Wizarding World of Harry Potter," in which park patrons are able to experience far more than just a ride or two based on the highly successful film franchise and book series.

Will Springfield be as successful as the Harry Potter addition to Universal? What other iconic locations from The Simpsons would you like to see integrated into the park expansion? Let us know in the comments below!
