Canadian carrier Bell is apparently gearing up to offer the colossal Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the LG Optimus L5 II, if recent reports are to be believed.
Noted tipster who goes by the Twitter handle @evleaks is the source of information.
Per MobileSyrup, "New devices are inevitable and it seems that Bell is on tap to launch a couple big ones. According to the extremely reliable device leaker evleaks, Bell will reportedly launch both the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and LG Optimus L5 II."
@evleaks posted an image on Twitter that shows off the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Optimus L5 II on June 23 along with the message ""Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and LG Optimus L5 II, both for Bell Canada."
The tipster, however, did not offer any information on the pricing of the two smartphones. No details on the release date of the devices were revealed either.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Mega 6.3 earlier in April this year and the LTE-enabled smartphone touts a ginormous 6.3-inch 720p display. The smartphone houses a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and packs in 1.5GB of RAM. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 also features an 8-megapixel and 1.9-megapixel, primary and secondary cameras, respectively. The Samsung smartphone also has a 3200mAh battery.
The LG Optimus L5 II, on the other hand, is a follow-up to the LG Optimus L5 and features a 4-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It packs in a 1GHz single-core processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facong camera and a 1700mAh battery.
With no exact date of release known at this juncture, we'll have to wait and see when Bell announces the smartphones. It is likely that the Galaxy Mega 6.3 and LG Optimus L5 II will be offered by other Canadian carriers as well.
