AT&T 32GB HTC One can now be yours for $79

The HTC One is turning out to be one of the best smartphones to have released so far this year and, for only $79, the AT&T variant can be yours for via Amazon.

The HTC One has turned into the company's 'come-back' smartphone. It is helping bring back one of the original major players in the game. It has an uphill battle to face, where Apple and Samsung are considered to be the only main players in the smartphone world, but HTC is stepping up and releasing some innovative handsets.

The company surprised the world when it launched the HTC One. The device felt very Apple-esque in its design. It used an anodized aluminum unibody case with an HD glass display. It also had the internal specs that made it a high-end, flagship smartphone for the company. The smartphone has been such a huge success that HTC is rumored to be getting to release both an HTC One Mini and HTC One Max phablet. The devices will borrow the One's aluminum unibody and UltraPixel camera technology.

The AT&T HTC One features an anodized aluminum unibody case and a 4.7-inch 468 ppi (pixels-per-inch) SuperLCD 3 Full HD 1080P display, which is also scratch-resistant, and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. It includes 32GB of included storage and 2 GB of RAM for excellent multitasking and gaming. The smartphone ships with Android 4.2 and is expected to be updated to Android 4.3 when Google releases its update to Android.

HTC has also added a new camera technology that it is calling UltraPixel. The camera has been highly praised in reviews of the smartphone. When it comes to sounds, the HTC One includes front facing dual-stereo speakers with HTC BoomSound and BeatsAudio built in. The smartphone includes 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC (near field communications), infrared universal remote display, and a non-removable 2,300 mAh battery.

If you're looking to get the 32GB HTC One on AT&T for a great price, especially compared to the $199 the carrier is currently charging online and its retail stores. Amazon is offering the smartphone for $79 when signing a new 2-year contract. The company is also throwing in free-two days shipping.
