"Call of Duty" fans, here is some good news for you! Activision has finally confirmed that "Call of Duty: Warzone 2" is in the works. This follows updates and improvements that will be made for season two of "Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone."
The gaming company has also given fans a sneak peek of their plans for the year. Specifically, they have given everyone an idea of what this year's release will be.

Activision Confirms 'Call of Duty: Warzone 2'
In the blog post released by Activision, the American video game publisher stated that the season two of "Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone" marks the next step in their effort to improving the gaming experience of their fans.
Activision has already announced a number of new content Despite this surprising announcement, the company explained that the new content is " secondary to our main priority: providing the community with a positive and fun gameplay experience."
Referring to the "Warzone" franchise in particular, the company further emphasize that the mentioned goals will be achieved by enhancing and correcting what is already available. In addition to fixes issued during the delay and future updates, season two is targeted at accomplishing this goal.
The gaming company said that they have great plans for the franchise this year. However, it was also said that the team behind the franchise is currently concentrating on the "Warzone" experience for the current players enjoying the game.

Current Issues and Improvements
Activision also said that they are fulfilling a few crucial requests from the community. They also assured fans that they are fixing existing issues that players are encountering as well.
Digital Trends mentioned that "while Warzone's issues run the gamut across PC and console, those on PS4 and Xbox One have experienced most of the game's problems."
The Digital Trends report went on to state that, during the course of a month, players on Xbox One had a total of 5.1 million crashes.
According to a separate report by IGN, improvements can also be expected for season two of "Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone."
"Activision Blizzard is promising more than 30 improvements ahead of the next season's launch on February 14, including fixes to blockages in 'Modern Warfare's' multiplayer," the report says.
This Year's 'Call of Duty' Release
Furthermore, fans of 2019's "Modern Warfare" have something to look forward to this year: Activision's 2022 release is the sequel of the game.
According to the blog post of Activision, the sequel will be built "from the ground-up." The development for this year's release as well as "Warzone 2" will be handed by Infinity Ward.
