Steam February Next Fest 2022: Demo Games to Look Forward

This year's Steam Next Fest will take place from Feb. 21 to 28.

The Next Fest in February is a multi-day video game display and sales event that celebrates games, featuring hundreds of demos, developer live streams, and opportunities to interact with the teams behind the games.

These events and sales benefit developers by providing an opportunity to promote or reintroduce their games to players.

Offering gamers a diverse selection of new and classic games at low pricing to increase accessibility, beginning with the year's first event.

At 10:00 a.m. PT of Feb. 21, Steam Next Fest 2022 will officially begin.

Chronicles Of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu's Wrath

According to Steam, Chronicles Of 2 Heroes: Amaterasu's Wrath is a side-scrolling action-platformer set in mythical, ancient Japan. It stars a brother and sister duo, with the former being a warrior and the latter a ninja.

In playing the game, players can switch between characters in real-time to overcome Amaterasu's difficulties; utilize the unique abilities of each sibling to devise fresh strategies for defeating the challenges and saving Japan.

Each character relies on a diverse set of distinct skills that can be unlocked during the game. The key to winning the game is reported to be the skills of the players to combine the appropriate moves at the appropriate time.

Players must alternate between the two siblings as they confront deadly adversaries and attempt to vanquish the wicked Empress Imiko.

Ghostlore

IGN reported that video games development is a difficult endeavor, especially for a single developer.

In the instance of Ghostlore, a new game being produced by Singaporean solo developer Andrew Teo, this is exactly what has happened.

This proves that everything with sheer willpower and the support of a passionate fan base, everything is possible.

Ghostlore, is a game that features mythical monsters from Southeast Asian civilizations, is a must-have for anyone who wants to battle all manner of Pontianak and Jenglots in one sitting.

GigaBash

Another Steam Next Fest Game is GigaBash, a game that will have plenty of other party modes in addition to the standard four-player battling experience.

GigaBash blends the chaos and inventiveness of titles such as Power Stone, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and War of Monsters with the jaw-dropping grandeur of classic kaiju films.

Kaiju lovers may finally test out this Malaysian title at Steam Next Fest before launching later this year on PC and PlayStation systems.

Glitchhikers: The Spaces Between

According to Steam Glitchhikers: The Spaces Between is a game with a bizarre road trip unlike any other, taking players on an introspective journey across a variety of lengthy, twisting highways, encountering odd characters, and listening to an equally odd soundtrack.

Additionally, it is a sequel to the critically acclaimed Glitchhikers and should not be missed by fans of that title.

Instruments of Destruction

Steam Next Fest will also feature Instruments of Destruction, a game equipped with a sophisticated physics-based destruction mechanism. Due to a fully interactive physics system, players can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece, and every object in the world reacts in some manner with the destruction.

Additionally, the game has a GPU-accelerated particle engine and GPU-accelerated grass and surface rocks. Each element compliments and interacts with the destruction mechanism, resulting in a tactile, intuitive world to explore.
