Is your iPhone 13 battery draining too fast?
Since the iPhone 13 release in late 2021, numerous users have complained about the device's battery life.
Although Apple has been able to improve the battery life of the iPhone with each successive version, the majority of iPhones can only last a single day on a single charge at the moment.
With that said, here are steps you can take to extend the battery life of your device.
1. Restart Your iPhone 13
As stated by Slash Gear, restarting an iPhone is also one of the quickest and most effective ways to resolve memory and app issues.
This clears out the memory that is currently being used and shuts down any applications that you may have opened and are currently running in the background.
Holding down the power and volume down button for a few seconds will restart the iPhone and restore its factory settings.
After it has been turned off, press and hold the power button for a few seconds to restart it.
It is advised to be mindful of apps usage. The greater the number of apps you open and don't close, the greater the amount of battery life those apps consume in the background.
2. Uninstall Unused Apps
As previously stated, applications have the potential to deplete the iPhone 13 battery faster than almost anything else. This means it's always a good idea for you to keep an eye on which apps are consuming the most battery life on your device.
You can see which apps have been using the battery in the background by navigating the Battery section of the settings. It is highly recommended uninstall the app that you do not use or rarely use.
3. Adjust Brightness Level
According to The Tech Addict, controlling the brightness of a device is also another preventive measure to avoid the iPhone 13 battery from draining too fast.
A bright display can cause the battery to drain quickly, so it's best to keep the screen as dim as the eyes can tolerate at all times.
Pull down the Control Panel from the top right-hand corner of the screen and drag the Brightness slider all the way down to start with.
The iPhone also has the ability to automatically adjust screen brightness in response to ambient lighting. This allows you to maintain complete control over the device's screen brightness and prolong the iPhone 13 battery life.
In addition, you can also utilize Dark Mode to save battery life.
4. Use Low Power Mode
Lastly, for an iPhone 13 battery that's draining too fast, using the Low Power Mode is a feature that can prevent the issue.
However, using the Low Power Mode will only provide a temporary quick fix for the iPhone 13.
This is also not recommended to be used on a regular basis.
You can use the Low Power Mode feature to reduce the extensive power consumption of the multiple apps installed.
Through enabling this feature, the usage of some visual effects will be reduced to run the device smoothly without consuming so much battery power.
