The PlayStation 5 (PS5) has either come and gone or will be on sale in select stores soon.
Walmart has confirmed it would be having a new batch of PS5 restocks on February 24, confirming earlier reports.
The retailer added that the "early access" restock would last for an hour from 12 noon EST, with new inventory releasing every 10 minutes, per What Hi Fi. However, it is worth noting that PS5 sales would be limited to Walmart Plus members only.
Although Walmart didn't include Walmart Plus trial members on its PS5 early access sale, trial members could still join in the fun by heading over to the Walmart Plus page and clicking on "Start Paid Membership."
GameStop is also rumored to be having a restock soon, as evidenced by the retailer's tweet on February 15. The Tweet consists of a reminder that people with a PowerUP Rewards Pro membership would get better benefits than those without--a typical tweet to drop when a restock is happening soon, per GamesRadar.
However, GameStop's restock is still a rumor at this point, and with the end of February fast approaching, the retailer might get that fresh PS5 stock in March instead.
PS5 Restocks in the U.K.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Amazon U.K. and PlayStation Direct just had their PS5 restock on February 23, which also confirmed earlier reports. The Independent said both retailers have sold out of PS5s, but the next restock is still a big unknown at the time of this article's publication.

All hope is not lost, however. There are still other retailers in the U.K. that could get their PS5s restocked. Game, for instance, is rumored to be selling PS5s soon due to changes on its PS5 bundles page, according to stock-checker.com.
Although PlayStation Direct has already sold out of PS5s, it previously had a second restock the day after, Soe here's hoping for the best.
Would You Like Some Games With That PS5?
Aside from the ongoing semiconductor shortage, one of the reasons the PS5 is so hard to find is because of its high demand, and for good reason. Sony has quite the line-up of games for the PS5 that you don't want to miss out on.
Let's talk about the recent releases. Guerilla Games' "Horizon Forbidden West" is the sequel of 2017's "Horizon Zero Dawn." The games are set on a post-apocalyptic Earth a millennium into the future, where humans have regressed into tribal societies while animal-like machines dominate the land. The games tell the story of Aloy, the main character, on her mission to solve the mystery of "The Old Ones", per the Horizon Wiki.
Another game to look out for is "Horizon Call of the Mountain," a virtual reality (VR) game for the PlayStation VR 2. The game is set during the events of the previously mentioned Horizon Games and see the world through the eyes of a new protagonist. Players would also get to play as Aloy in some form, per a separate GameRadar article.
Additionally, "God of War: Ragnarok," the sequel to the much-beloved "God of War" game released in 2018, is set for release this 2022. It continues the story of the former Greek god of war, Kratos, and his son, Atreus, on their journey to prevent Ragnarok from happening, according to the God of War wiki.
2022 is set out to be quite a year for the PS5 and its users, so don't forget to check for updates on PS5 restocks!
