Netflix has a treat for all Tekken fans out there because an anime series adaptation is heading everyone's way later this year!
In fact, the streaming giant has released an official teaser for the series already. While the teaser does not mention any release date, it gives fans the name of the anime, "Tekken: Bloodline."
Jin Kazama fans are also in for a treat as he is set to be the focus of the new anime series.
Netflix Releases 'Tekken: Bloodline' Teaser
Netflix has released the official teaser for "Tekken: Bloodline," the anime series based on the Bandai Namco video game franchise, Tekken. According to a report by The Verge, no release date as well as episode count is available as of press time.
The anime series is said to focus on Jin Kazama and his journey to the King of Iron Fist Tournament. He features prominently in the teaser, along with his mother, Jun Kazama, and his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima.
Other familiar faces fans will see in the teaser include boss character Ogre, Paul Phoenix, and masked fighter King.
The report by The Verge has pointed out that Katsuhiro Harada, the producer and director of the Tekken games, posted a tweet inviting his followers to check out the teaser. You can view his tweet below:

'Tekken: Bloodline' Summary
While details and other official information pertaining to the Tekken anime series remaise scarce for now, a summary for the show has been provided, according to a report by ComicBook.com.
The series summary as is as follows:
'Power is everything.' Jin Kazama learned the family self-defense arts, Kazama-Style Traditional Martial Arts, from his mother at an early age. Even so, he was powerless when a monstrous evil suddenly appeared, destroying everything dear to him, changing his life forever. Angry at himself for being unable to stop it, Jin vowed revenge and sought absolute power to exact it. His quest will lead to the ultimate battle on a global stage - The King of Iron Fist Tournament.

Netflix's Other Video Game Adaptations
"Tekken: Bloodline" is the latest addition to Netflix's list of current and upcoming video game adaptations.
One popular example that has already been released is the animated series "Arcane," which is based on the popular online battle arena game, League of Legends.
Resident Evil is due to have two Netflix adaptations. We previously reported here on iTech Post that the teaser images for the Resident Evil live action adaptation has been released by Netflix. A premiere date, July 14, has also been given.
The other adaptation, "Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness," was released last year. The animated series features a total of four episodes.
