Robert Pattinson's 'The Batman' Coming to HBO Max
Robert Pattison's "The Batman" is officially coming to HBO Max.
We think we have held you in suspense long enough so here is the date the movie is set to start streaming: April 18. CNET also reports that the film is also set to air on HBO on April 23.
If you are wondering why the film will only start streaming on April 18 on HBO Max when it was released in theaters last month, it is because the "2022 HBO Max streaming model sees Warner Bros. movies holding a 45-day exclusive theatrical release window, before heading to the streamer on day 46."

What's With the 45-Day Release Window?
If you are wondering why there is a 45-day release window that allows a Warner Bros. movie to be exclusive for movie theaters only, CNET explains that it started with Warner Bros. former "day-and-date" release plan.
The publication reports that Warner Bros. films released last year were available on HBO Max the same day they were released in theaters. Unsurprisingly, movie theater owners were not too happy about that as people could just opt to stay at home and stream instead of paying a theater to watch the film.
That led to the establishing of the 45-day release window wherein a Warner Bros. film is exclusively shown movie theaters for 45 days before hitting HBO Max.
'The Batman'
As previously mentioned, "The Batman," which was released on March 4, is the reboot of the "Batman" film franchise. The movie stars Robert Pattinson. who the official website for "The Batman" says is playing "the dual role of Gotham City's vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne."
Aside from Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Danno, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell are part of the film's cast.
The film was originally scheduled for a June 2021 release but has since been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has a total running time of two hours and 57 minutes. According to CNET, this makes "The Batman" the third longest superhero film in terms of running time.
Warner Bros. has released two trailers prior to the theatrical screening of the movie, along with scene from the film, which was released early this year. You can view the scene below:
