Netflix Reveals Who'll Be Playing Gallatin, Milva, Mistle, and Prince Radovid
Accomplished actor Robbie Amell ("A Series of Unfortunate Events," "Upload," "The Flash," "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City") played Gallatin. Netflix described Gallatin as "a born fighter." He leads an army of guerrilla Scoia'tael fighting on behalf of Nilfgaard. Netflix added that he's "unafraid to speak his truth, and his loyalty to his people ultimately leads him on a collision course with Francesca over power."
Milva is played by Meng'er Zhang ("Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings"). She's a "fierce and talented" human huntress adopted by the dryads of Brokilon Forest.
Milva has a major role as one of Geralt's important allies helping him seek out Ciri in Nilfgaard.
Christelle Elwin ("Half Bad") is starred as Mistle, a member of a gang of misfit teens known as The Rats who "steal from the rich and give to themselves - and sometimes the poor". Mistle is described as being "street hard, suspicious of everyone and out for revenge, until a chance meeting that will change everything."
Hugh Skinner ("Fleabag," "W1A") will play Prince Radovid. He is described as a "royal playboy and younger brother to King Vizimir." He suddenly finds himself on the inside of the Redanian Intelligence. Prince Radovid earned a reputation of being ruthless and decisive.
The Netflix series draws inspiration from Polish author Aandrzej Sapkowski's novels and short stories. A video game was developed in 2007 by CD Projekt Red for Microsoft Windows and CD Projekt on OS X. In the game, the story takes place in a medieval fantasy world and follows Geralt of Rivia, one of a few traveling monster hunters who have supernatural powers, known as Witchers.
