iPhone SE 2022 and the Pixel sales are reportedly struggling due to the lack of interest from consumers in the United States, at least according to a recent survey.
iPhone SE 2022, Pixel 6 Sales Struggle
Apple launched the iPhone SE 3 or the iPhone SE 2022 last March 8 as its budget-friendly smartphone. It still sports the same dated look as the now-discontinued iPhone 8 but flaunts a powerful A15 chip, which also powers the iPhone 13.
On the other hand, the Pixel 6 debuted as the latest flagship smartphone of Google last Oct. 20, 2021.
It comes with two models, the Pixel 6 and the top-of-the-line Pixel 6 Pro, which were the first mobile devices to feature the new in-house Google Tensor chipset.
Now, a recent carrier survey showed that the Google flagship and the Apple entry-level phone are struggling to attract buyers in the US.
As per a news story by PC Mag, both the Pixel 6 and more recent iPhone SE fails to sell lucratively in the stores of US carriers, a survey from the research firm Wave7 reported.
iPhone SE 2022 Survey
The survey suggests that the demand for Apple's new iPhone SE appears to be weaker than its predecessor. In fact, about 56 percent of the respondents believe the older iteration is selling better than the new one.
On the other hand, roughly about 8 percent of the participants say otherwise, claiming that the demand for the iPhone SE 3 is much stronger this time around.
It is worth noting that the survey asked the sales folks at stores of various US carriers regarding the demand for more recent smartphones. The research seeks to gauge the sales of these devices in a carrier-heavy market.
On top of that, the research firm went on to note that Apple seems to be less enthusiastic about the latest iPhone SE as well.
A sales representative from Verizon even said that the majority did not even know that a new Apple budget device had recently come out. Perhaps for its lack of marketing boost.
Google Pixel 6 Survey
Like the iPhone SE, the survey showed that the Pixel 6 lacks demand as well. One salesperson told Wave7 that the proliferation of early bugs and other annoying issues are not helping Google to lure in more buyers.

Google's Move
According to a recent report by Android Authority, the search engine giant has given away lucrative commissions for Pixel 6 sales reps to boost its sales.
However, the latest Wave7 survey showed that the high kickbacks are not enough to boost demand.
A salesperson even disclosed that he only sold the Pixel 6 to those who were disappointed that the Samsung Galaxy S22 has been out of stock.
