Get your "Dynamite" moves ready!
Apple Fitness+ will bring BTS dance lessons to users on April 29 in time with International Dance Day.
Apple will be teaching choreography from videos of songs like "Dynamite," "Butter," Mic Drop" and "Permission to Dance" to users of Apple Fitness+ through its existing partnership with BTS.
First of BTS Workouts to Arrive Next Week
Next week, the first of the BTS dance workouts will arrive. With this, Apple is also bringing new content to its Artist Spotlight series, as per Engadget report.
Fitness+ dedicates an entire workout playlist to a single artist in their Artist Spotlight series. This included Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, and Jennifer Lopez. The new batch will feature BTS, ABBA, and Queen-themed classes.
Over the course of four weeks, new workouts will be featuring each artist across different categories like Strength, HIIT, Treadmill, Cycling, Yoga, Pilates and Dance.
On April 25, users will get to work out with "Permission to Dance" with trainer Ben Allen in the first-ever BTS-themed dance workout. This incorporates the BTS' signature choreography.
Users can also expect to dance to fan-favorite tracks "Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)," "Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey)," and "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)."
According to an Apple press release, the moves featured in the workout are taken directly from the choreography in BTS videos.
New dance workouts featuring music from other musicians will be featured as well. This includes a new collection of six dance workouts led by trainers LaShawn Jones and Jhon Gonzalez set to genres like hip-hop, Latin, and '80s songs.
Fitness+ team usually comes up with their own choreography, but for the BTS videos they will be teaching the band's own signature moves.

Fitness+ Users to Earn Limited-edition Awards, Messages Stickers
When users log a dance workout that's 20+ minutes long, they will have the chance to obtain a "limited-edition award" for their Apple Watch and "animated stickers for (iPhone) Messages."
Apple will also release a new collection of workouts for beginners with three 20-minute guides on April 25. Three 30-minute options focused on performance, and span categories like 80's classics, Latin music and hip hop will also be available.
With the ability to save playlists into users' Apple Music accounts, music has always played a big part in Fitness+.
Aside from Latin Grooves genre, the artists featured have primarily been English-language artists from the US. The addition of K-pop is a wise move for Fitness+ since the genre has become very popular in the global market.
The introduction of BTS is also a wise move. With 2.95 million digital song sales and four of the top 10 best-selling singles, the group was one of the best-selling groups in the US in 2021.
Users should grab their iOS device and sign up for Apple Fitness+ with $10 per month or $80 annually. This will give users access to all new classes particularly the original moves of BTS.
Apple Fitness+, which was launched in the late 2020 is a new service that's designed to help Apple Watch owners keep fit through a series of guided workouts that are available across multiple workout categories.
