Smart bottles can now track your water intake!
Using cutting-edge technology, you can track your water intake and sync it to Apple Health with Apple's new smart water bottles from HidrateSpark.
The tech giant released two of these smart bottles: the HidrateSpark PRO Smart Water Bottle and the HidrateSpark PRO STEEL Smart Water Bottle. These are now sold in Apple's online and retail stores.
Customers Can Choose Between Two Smart Water Bottles
You have two options on your smart water bottles.
HidrateSpark PRO STEEL Smart Water Bottle retails for $79.95. It is available in silver or black, and it's a vacuum-insulated 32-ounce water bottle with both chug and straw lids.
The PRO STEEL has a LED smart sensor puck at the base that lights up in customizable colors and patterns to remind you to drink water throughout the day. The puck tracks your water intake and records it, transmitting the data via Bluetooth to your phone and on to Apple Health.
This stainless-steel, vacuum-insulated bottle promises to keep your liquids cold for up to 24 hours. The bottle and lid are BPA free and dishwasher-safe while the rechargeable LED puck should be cleaned with a damp cloth, as per Macrumors.
You can also choose the cheaper and more lightweight HidrateSpark PRO Smart Water Bottle that $59.95. It is available in green or black and is made of shatter- and odor-resistant Tritan plastic.
The HidrateSpark PRO Smart Water Bottle has the same LED sensor puck and similarly comes with both chug and straw lids and is BPA-free, Macrumors stated.
According to Macrumors, the two new bottles join two other HidrateSpark models that were already available through Apple, the 21-ounce HidrateSpark STEEL priced at $70 and the 20-ounce Hidrate Spark 3 priced at $60.

Why HidrateSpark Works
HidrateSpark stated on their website that they provide the complete solution to water intake issues.
"HidrateSpark has created a habit-changing platform. Our Smart Water Bottle pairs using Bluetooth to the Hidrate mobile app which provides glowing bottle reminders and text notifications to keep your water intake on track," the company posted on their website.
The company also claimed that they did a "small change for a big impact."
With HidrateSpark 3, they introduce positive habits into customers' life. The glowing reminders and text notifications keep you on track. The app also encourages you to connect with friends for extra motivation and map your progress daily, weekly, and monthly.
"The HidrateSpark 3 smart Bluetooth water bottle, paired with the Hidrate App, is the easiest way to track your hydration," said HidrateSpark.
The app follows a "hydration equation." This is calculated daily and adjusts throughout the day based on your body and activity level. The app also calculates your environment, altitude, age, weight, height, and sex in order to determine the optimal hydration level.
Founder Ngoc Nguyen said "We built HidrateSpark to keep you healthy. Every sip counts, so how much water you need is determined by science, based on your profile, where you live and the amount of water you need to stay healthy," as per Money Control report.
