May the fourth be with you!

It's no coincidence that Lucasfilm and Disney+ released the latest trailer of "Obi-Wan Kenobi" on May 4, just in time to celebrate Star Wars Day.

Lucasfilm and Disney+ offered another look at the upcoming "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series featuring Ewan McGregor.

New 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Trailer Offers More Footages Than the Previous One

Compared with the first teaser, the new "Obi-Wan Kenobi" trailer has more footages suggesting what to expect in the series that is set to premier on May 27.

A snippet of a conversation between Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) and Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton) about training young Luke Skywalker to become a Jedi can be seen.

According to Engadget, there's also a look at Darth Vader (Hayden Christensen) being pieced together, which is much more than the breathing cameo from the previous trailer.

The new trailer reinforces one of the show's main story threads as well, where in an attempt to wipe out the Jedi once and for all, the Empire is desperately trying to hunt down an on-the-run Obi-Wan, as per Engadget report.

Along with several shots of the villains, there's a very brief appearance of Kumail Nanjiani, whose character is intriguingly and interestingly wearing Jedi-style robes.

The Mandalorian, the first live-action Star Wars series, has been a hit among viewers. It is expected that it should be an easier for Disney+ to sell "Obi-Wan Kenobi."

Anticipated Clash Between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader Expected to Happen in the Series

The trailer teases the anticipated clash between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lord Darth Vader. The iconic Star Wars villain was shown in the trailer, and Hayden Christensen is reprising his role as a badly burnt Anakin/Vader.

The story in the "Obi-Wan Kenobi" series begins 10 years after the events of "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith." The six-part limited series will fill in some of the narrative gaps between the prequels and the original trilogy.

In the "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith," Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader, as reported by the Deadline.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is an upcoming American television miniseries created for the streaming service Disney+. It features the "Star Wars" character of the same name. The series is directed by Deborah Chow, with Joby Harold serving as the showrunner.

The executive producer is Ewan McGregor who also stars as the title character, reprising his role from the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy alongside Hayden Christensen, Joel Edgerton, and Bonnie Piesse. Moses Ingram, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, and Sung Kang also star in the series.

Filming of the series began by May 2021 in Los Angeles, using StageCraft video wall technology, and wrapped by September. The main theme was written by "Star Wars" film composer John Williams while Natalie Holt composed the rest of the score. Hold became the first woman to score a live-action "Star Wars" project.
