A new "Ms. Marvel" promo has been dropped by Marvel ahead of its arrival on Disney+.
The miniseries, which is set to hit Disney+ next month, stars Iman Vellani as the titular character. The teaser gives fans a glimpse of where she gets her powers as well as the other cast members of "Ms. Marvel."
"Ms. Marvel" is part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The story of the miniseries will lead to the events of the upcoming film, "The Marvels," where Vellani will reprise her role.
New 'Ms. Marvel' Promo is Released
A new "Ms. Marvel" promo has dropped and it gives fans a glimpse of Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani. A report by Gizmodo notes that the Marvel miniseries is scheduled for release on Disney+ on June 8.
The teaser also gives everyone a chance to see the other characters of the series, including the main character's mom, Muneeba Khan (played by Zenobia Shroff), and her brother Bruno, who is portrayed by Matt Lintz.
Red Dagger, played by Aramis Knight, is likewise teased in the promo.

Who is Ms. Marvel?
The report by Gizmodo narrates Ms. Marvel's background in the Marvel comics, noting that she is one of the so-called Inhumans. However, it looks like things will different for the miniseries, especially when it comes to where and how Kamala Khan will get her powers.
"Kamala doesn't appear to have latent Inhuman DNA, she's just found a pair of cosmic bands to put on her wrists," the report points out.
Gizmodo also notes that she also has shapeshifting abilities as she is able to shapeshift into her idol, Captain Marvel.

What Else is Known About 'Ms. Marvel'
Details about the Disney+ series have been scarce up until the release of the new promo. However, with the release scheduled for June 8, the wait is definitely getting shorter and shorter.
What is known, however, is that the series is created by Bisha K. Ali and will have a total of six episodes. It is part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which already includes films "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" and "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," among others.
TV series that are part of Phase Four are "WandaVision," "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," and "Moon Knight."
"Ms. Marvel" is meant to serve as a set-up for the 2023 film "The Marvels," where Iman Vellani will reprise her role as Ms. Marvel. She will be joined by Brie Larson, who plays Captain Marvel, and Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau.
