"Glee" is back to streaming inDisney+ and Hulu. Lea Michele and Austin Butler stans rejoice!
"Glee," the musical comedy teen drama, will make its streaming comeback on Disney+ and Hulu. The highly successful series, whose co-creator and executive producer is Ryan Murphy, will begin streaming on June 1.
The comeback came just in time to help kick off the celebrations of the LGBTQIA+ Pride Month special that will take place on the streaming services.

Gleeks, get ready because everyone's favorite musical comedy series is back after six months of leaving Netflix in November 2021.
"Glee" is coming back to streaming, and this time it will be available on Disney+ and Hulu. Just in time for binge-watching throughout the summer, the former hit on Fox will become available on streamers' libraries on Wednesday, June 1.
As part of the celebrations next month, "Glee" will help kick off Pride Month. Starting off the Pride Month celebrations with the "Glee" series will be included in the LGBTQ programming initiatives that the platforms will carry out throughout June.
During the first season of "Glee," main characters Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) and Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) were among the most well-known LGBTQ characters on TV.
The show also featured other openly gay actors in the cast, including Colfer and Jane Lynch. During its run, the show was nominated for and won two GLAAD Awards.
The announcement was made the day after what would have been the pilot episode's 13th anniversary since it first aired on Fox back in 2009. In addition to that, the announcement was also made to celebrate the recognition of National Streaming Day on May 20.
The first episode of Glee aired on Fox in 2009, and the show continued to air for a total of six seasons before it was canceled in March of 2015.
'Glee' Series
The TV show "Glee," which was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, is about a show choir called the New Directions from the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio.
The show follows the members of the New Directions as they compete in different contests and try to figure out their personal lives at the same time.
Variety said that Matthew Morrison played the lead role of club teacher Will Schuester in the series. The club members were played by a large ensemble cast that included Colfer, Rivera, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Dianna Agron, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, Harry Shum Jr., Chord Overstreet, and Darren Criss.
Strong ratings were garnered by "Glee" throughout its entire run on the network from 2009 to 2015, and 207 singles charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Even now, there are a lot of people who watch the show, and it helped Ryan Murphy become a well-known TV producer and showrunner.
According to TVLine, there have been rumors of a reboot surfacing on the internet. This was widely assumed as Michael Thorn, Fox Entertainment president, stated, "we're always open to reinventing our best IP with some of our favorite partners."
However, a representative from Disney declined to comment when asked about the prospect of a revival or reboot.
