"Star Wars: The Bad Batch" Season 2 will soon be streaming on Disney Plus this year.

Lucasfilm has recently announced that the 2nd season of "The Bad Batch" will soon be available to stream on Disney Plus sometime this fall, per Engadget.

The Disney subsidiary made the announcement during the panel with the cast and creatives at Star Wars Celebration 2022 in Anaheim.

'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' Season 2 Details

The trailer of "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" season 2 seems to take place sometime after the events of the first season as a result of a time skip. It isn't clear how long this time skip is.

The trailer also shows Clone Force 99 looking older than they were in the previous season, with the team wearing updated armor (the red becomes orange) and Omega growing out her hair.

Meanwhile, Crosshair, the former Bad Batch member that decided to side with the Empire, will be teaming up with the leader of the Clone Army's 212th Attack battalion, Commander Cody, who fought alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi during the events of the Clone Wars, per CNET.

The squad will also encounter one of the Jedi younglings that survived Order 66. This Jedi youngling comes in the form of a Wookie with a green lightsaber, whose identity could be Gungi, a Jedi padawan during the Clone Wars.

The trailer also revealed that audiences would see Omega looking at Emperor Palpatine (also known as Darth Sidious) in person in what could be the former Republic Senate chambers in Coruscant, which seems to have had a makeover since the government transition.

Furthermore, we might be seeing one of the few surviving separatist droid armies (or what's left of them) in the second season, along with a bunch of clone commandos who could be the Bad Batch's pursuers.

Attendees of the panel at Anaheim were treated to a scene from the second season's first episode, wherein the team gets attacked by a handful of giant crabs on a tropical world - snippets of which could be found within the trailer.

"Star Wars: The Bad Batch" season 2 stars Dee Bradley Baker, who returns as the voice of Clone Force 99 and most of the remaining clone troopers in the imperial army, and Michelle Ang, who comes back as the voice of Omega, per Polygon.

The second season of the show was announced by Lucasfilm in 2021, just before the two-part finale of the show's first season, according to the company's announcement on Twitter.
