Each month has different commemorations and events that are being celebrated here in the United States and, sometimes, around the world too. June, for example, happens to be Great Outdoors Month here in the country.

You may have already guessed it just by looking at the words "Great Outdoors Month," but this month, you are basically being encouraged to go out and explore the great outdoors, including the many parks and wildlife refuges. It is all about celebrating and exploring the beauty of nature, which we all know can be a great deal of fun.

To celebrate Great Outdoors Month, we have put together a list of apps that you may want to download to your phone especially if you are planning to explore the national parks of the country.
