After recently releasing the ability to react to messages using emojis in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.9, the messaging application WhatsApp is now generating the same feature for iOS.
This most awaited feature displays a "+' button that will allow its users to choose emojis from a broader range of selections, more than just the thumbs up, red heart, laughing, surprised, sad, and hands together emojis.
Back in 2021, this application offered significant elements. Among such is WhatsApp Flash Call, where one can verify their mobile number via an automated call rather than SMS. WhatsApp's 2021 update has also allowed Multiple Device Support, allowing its users to log in to a single account on four different devices.
According to GadgetsNow, this 2022, WhatsApp will lay off unique updated features for its users, including WhatsApp Logout, Instagram Reels on WhatsApp, Read Later option, Adjust Last Seen status, WhatsApp Insurance, and a New Design for Contact Card.
WhatsApp Logout
Similar to Facebook, WhatsApp will allow users to log out of their accounts on a particular gadget, so they may be able to log in on a different one. This feature will replace the 'Delete Account' button of the app and support its proposed multi-device feature at the same time.
Instagram Reels on WhatsApp
This speculated feature will give this messaging app's users the access to watch Instagram Reel via WhatsApp.
Read Later
Users can archive chats through the Read Later feature that this messaging app generates, which will replace the existing archival system on Android and iOS.
Adjust Last Seen Status
With the Adjust Last Seen feature, users may adjust their Last Seen Status on a contact-by-contact basis, which will improve their privacy.
WhatsApp Insurance
Through this update, WhatsApp users in India may buy insurance policies from licensed financial service players and gain access to health insurance and micro-pension products available in their country.
New Design for Contact Card
This feature offers new designs for your name appearing when someone clicks it.
Even the reaction 2.0 in the said messaging app for the iOS 15 is not yet ready; such awaited features and the new expected updates, users can experience a more convenient messaging experience.
Considering that the messaging reaction is still a work in progress, WhatsApp still has no specific dates when such a feature will be available for public testers or its general users.
However, with the number of news the app has been releasing this past year, it is believed that the application will cease its users' long wait sooner than later.
In the future, WhatsApp users may gain access to "Recent Reactions," similar to what Instagram already offers with Directs. They may also be able to express what texts can hardly tell via a swipe and a single click to any suitable emoji.
In the longer run, iOS users will eventually encounter a convenient and fun chatting experience in this messaging app.
