Stranger Things Season 5 Is Coming to Netflix—The Duffer Brothers Tease the Finale

Stranger Things season 5 is confirmed to continue on Netflix.

The Duffer Brothers mentioned the ending they desired for their Netflix show.

Netflix recently aired the second volume of the show on July 21. All seven episodes of season 4 can now be watched on the streaming platform.

The recently released season 4 was met with a warm welcome from the fans who have waited for another installment of Stranger Things.

Numerous fans are wondering if the show will have another season. With what the Duffer brothers have said, it looks like Eleven and her friends will continue their adventure in Hawkins and the Upside down.

Stranger Things Direction for Season 5

In an interview with Josh Horowitz for the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the Duffer Brothers revealed that they do not anticipate the runtime of the final season of Stranger Things to be quite as long as the 13 hours that were devoted to Season 4.

Matt Duffer stated that the first few episodes of Stranger Things season 5 will be moving fast.

Both brothers are not currently sure how fast they would take it, but they know for a fact that the characters already have a goal and a drive.

According to them, starting season 5 directly with the action will be pivotal for the show since it will shape a one-of-a-kind ending tone through the rest of the show. It will also make the finale season unique and different.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Matt said, "Characters are already going to be in action, they're already going to have a goal and a drive, and I think that's going to carve out at least a couple hours and make this season feel really different."

Although it's possible that the first episode of the season will get off to a more rapid start, the Duffer Brothers fully intend to take their time when it comes to writing the closing chapter of the series.

Ending Stranger Things

During the podcast, the Duffer brothers also talked about their plans to bring all the heroes back together in Hawkins, which will naturally bring about a simplification of the story.

In addition, the group intends to conclude the story by bringing it "full circle."

According to IGN, Matt Duffer stated, "We want to go back to a lot of things we did in Season 1 and a lot of the original groupings and pairings that we had in Season 1. There's something nice about coming full circle."

Matt implied that what they want for the finale season has some sort of resemblance with what was season 1. The difference is that season 5 will be written on a much larger scale.

It will be a more massive storyline since a lot is already at stake in Hawkins.

However, Matt Duffer cautions that while they are working to bring Stranger Things to a successful conclusion, anything can change.

He also laughingly said on the podcast to not take his word for anything, as a lot can change. It is important to take his words with a grain of salt.

This Netflix show has been such a hit, not just for the younger audience but also for the older ones. Stranger Things gives a very nostalgic 80s vibe that revolves around a supernatural story.

The show has been rumored to end this season, but the creators of the Netflix original, the Duffer Brothers, just debunked that.

The adventure continues in Hawkins and on the Upside Down.
