'Stranger Things' Actor Noah Schnapp Confirms Will Byers Theory — Will It Come Out in Season 5 of the Netflix Series?

"Stranger Things" actor Noah Schnapp confirms the real deal with Will Byers.

This Netflix original series has continued to gain its success. Just recently, the second volume was made available to the streaming platform after officially releasing season 4.

"Stranger Things" season 3 was intense and action packed, the younglings from Hawkins were battling the Mind Flayer trying to destroy Hawkins.

There was a lot going on in the previous season, the characters were dealing with the Russian invasion, the upside down, helping Eleven, and so much more.

"Stranger Things" season 4 did not hold back despite successfully closing the gate and killing the monster.

In a recent interview with Noah Schnapp who plays Will Byers, Schnapp confirmed a very accurate speculation and theory from the fans after watching season 4.

He confirmed the theory with his character's sexuality, saying Will is gay.

There's been much speculation over the years about Will's sexuality, including a scene in Season 3 that hints toward it.

'Stranger Things' Will Byers Theory

"Stranger Things" actors started with the show at a young age. With that, the actor, along with their characters, have both grown on screen. This is especially true of Noah Schnapp, who is the youngest member in the show.

Schnapp stated that the Duffer Brothers have always hinted that Will is gay throughout the previous seasons. It was even hinted in season 1 where it can be seen that he is growing up slower compared to his friends.

Now that he is getting older, it is becoming more evident in his character. Some scenes are making it clear and obvious that he is.

The actor also did confirm that the fans were right, Will Byers does love Mike. Throughout season 4, Byers has scenes with Mike where he gets jealous with the attention Mike gives to Eleven.

This was obvious in a certain scene where they were skating and both of them were arguing with each other. Will was communicating to Mike that they are not talking as much as they talk or write.

Schnapp explains that he's had fans come up to him and express their appreciation for Will's character. It made him happy to hear fans feel great because they can relate to the character saying that was what they were feeling growing up.

In addition, Schnapp stated that his acting in season 4 was a new thing for him. Instead of fighting the Mind Flayer or getting trapped in the Upside Down, he was navigating his personal identity issues and struggling to navigate high school.

'Stranger Things' Evolution

"Stranger Things" creators, the Duffer Brothers, have been in touch with Noah about what is next for his character.

According to IGN, Schnapp called the brothers a few weeks ago and they said, "Obviously, we hope for a coming out scene, and I also want to see them address this connection to the Mind Flayer and how that fits into the world."

"Stranger Things" season 4 ended in such a cliffhanger. A lot of theories were then made up to complete the missing pieces. Fans are curious to know about Max, will she be okay again? Will Eddie Munson clear his name?

Although there are now hints to what will be expected in season 5.

As iTechPost previously reported, the Duffer Brothers both guessed at the Happy Sad Confused podcast of Josh Horowitz and stated that the next season of "Stranger Things" will be moving fast.

The brothers want the story for the last season to evolve and circle back to where it all started in season 1, stating that that will be their desired ending for the show.
