Have you noticed it? There's something new with Twitter.
According to a report of The Verge, their team noticed the new sound that can be heard when you pull down to refresh your feed in Twitter.
When you first pull the feed, you might hear a little windup trill, then, it will be followed with a short confirmation chirp after your feed is done refreshing.
It's not a drill. Twitter is indeed chirping.
How to Hear the Twitter App Chirp
If you haven't hear these new chirp sounds on Twitter yet, triggering it is pretty easy. Here's how to listen to the new Twitter chirp sound on iOS and Android devices:
Before you attempt to try it, you must first check if your Twitter app is updated to the latest version. Check in on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Afterwards, to make sure it will work, you might try force closing the Twitter and re-opening it before attempting to hear the new sounds.
Once you had it re-opened, pull down your Twitter feed to refresh. Upon pulling down, you should hear the new chirp sound.
If you are not hearing some new noises, there is a possibility that it is not yet available in your device. Do not panic or worry.
The Verge said that they are not sure how widely this is rolled out, therefore, even if you try those steps you may not hear the sounds yet.
