Paramount Presents Two Film Clips at SDCC 2022
Aside from the exciting new "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" trailer, which is now on YouTube, attendees at the first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2022 were also treated to two lengthy clips of the upcoming film. One clip that was shown only at Hall H saw the characters navigating a maze as other teams made their way through it.
Daley promised viewers that they'll see a slew of monsters and creatures and dozens of spells, sharing that the filmmakers had worked with game publisher Wizards of the Coast to ensure the film remained faithful to D&D lore. Parts of the film were shot in Northern Ireland during the COVID lockdown in the UK.
Goldstein shared that he and Daley "have a long history" with D&D, sharing to audiences that he used to play the first edition with his brother, who would always slay him in the game. Meanwhile, Daley learned about the game after playing the role of Sam Weir on the NBC comedy-drama "Freaks and Geeks," as the fictional Sam was a big fan of the game in the cult series.
"Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" will debut in theaters on March 3, 2023.
